وما شككت بأني سوف أغتبقُ

I sent a complaint to you the morning of my thirst
And never doubted I would drink wine that evening.
And I did not doubt that I would be rescued

For I wrote until my pen betrayed me
And went back and forth until the roads grew weary of me.
And I hesitated until the roads wearied me

You are a man whose generosity is a flood, and whose bounty
You are a man whose generosity is abundant and attainable
Pours down, and whose largesse rains in abundant torrents.
Whose care is flowing and whose gifts are generous
