  1. قل للزمان الذي أبدى عجائبه

    اللهُ منكَ ومن تصريِفكَ الكافي

    Tell Time, which has revealed its wonders:

    God suffices against you and your vicissitudes.

  2. اجهد بجهدكَ فيما قد قَصدتَ له

    فَفرجَةُ الله بين النُّونِ والكافِ

    Do your utmost in what you have set out to do;

    For God's relief lies between the letters nūn and kāf.
