O you who forsake me when I come to visit him,
O visitor, when you come to visit me
Forsaking was never your custom.
Avoidance was never your habit before
ياO صاحِبَdweller of القَبرِthe grave السَلامُpeace عَلىupon

O dweller of the grave, peace be upon
O friend in the grave, peace be upon
The one whom the grave has kept me from meeting.
The one whom the grave prevented from meeting
