هاك عن هذا النبي المصطفى

خبراً يقبله من سمعه

خبراً يقبله من سمعه

Here, then, is a report of this Chosen Prophet—

Receive, concerning this chosen Prophet,

a report accepted by whoever hears it:

A report accepted by whoever hears it.

سبّحت صمُّ الحصى في كَفِّه

سبّحت صمُّ الحصى في كَفِّه

ثم في كفِّ الهداة الأربعه

ثم في كفِّ الهداة الأربعه

the mute pebbles glorified God in his palm,

The deaf pebbles glorified God in his palm,

then in the palms of the four rightly guiding leaders.

Then in the palms of the four guides.

وإذا أبدى نبيٌّ عبرة

وإذا أبدى نبيٌّ عبرة

فهو لا ينكر فيمن تبعه

فهو لا ينكر فيمن تبعه

And when a prophet manifests a wondrous sign,

And when a prophet manifests a wondrous sign,

its appearance among his followers is not to be denied.

Such a thing is not denied in those who follow him.

أي نطق قد روى إعجازه

أي نطق قد روى إعجازه

عن سماع كل من كان معه

عن سماع كل من كان معه

What miraculous speech was transmitted

What an utterance! Its miraculous nature was recounted

from the hearing of everyone who was with him!

From firsthand hearing by all who were with him.

حجج الرسل التي قد سلفت

حجج الرسل التي قد سلفت

أصبحت في أحمد مجتمعه

أصبحت في أحمد مجتمعه

The proofs of the messengers who came before

The messengers’ proofs that had come before

were all gathered together in Ahmad.

Have come together in Ahmad.

فاعتقد صحتها واعمل بها

فاعتقد صحتها واعمل بها

فدعاوى ضدها منقطعه

فدعاوى ضدها منقطعه

So believe in their truth and act upon them,

So believe in their truth and act upon them,

for all claims against them are refuted.

For claims against them are cut off.

ممكنات العقل لا يجحدها

ممكنات العقل لا يجحدها

غير أهل الطبع والمبتدعه

غير أهل الطبع والمبتدعه

They are possibilities that reason does not deny—

What reason deems possible is denied by none

none reject them but the naturalists and the heretics.

Except the naturalists and the religious innovators.
