بركات رسل الله غير خفية
ومحمدand Muhammad خيرthe best of البريةcreation أبركmost blessed
ومحمد خير البرية أبرك
The blessings of God's messengers are not hidden,
The blessings of God's messengers are not hidden.
and Muhammad, the best of creation, is the most blessed.
And Muhammad, the best of creation, is the most blessed.
هذاthis النبيthe Prophet الهاشميthe Hashimite هوhe الذيthe one who
هذا النبي الهاشمي هو الذي
هُديwas guided الأنامhumankind بهthrough him وبانand became clear المسلكthe path
هُدي الأنام به وبان المسلك
This Hashimite Prophet is the one
This Hashimite Prophet is the one
through whom humankind was guided and the path made clear.
Through whom humankind was guided and the path became clear.
كمhow many آيةٍa sign لمحمدfor Muhammad كمhow many حجةٍa proof
كم آيةٍ لمحمد كم حجةٍ
عزَّgained honor الوليّthe faithful ally بهاthrough them وذلّand was abased المشركthe idolater
عزَّ الوليّ بها وذلّ المشرك
How many a sign Muhammad has—how many a proof—
How many signs Muhammad has, how many proofs,
by which the believer was exalted and the idolater humbled.
Through which the faithful ally gained honor and the idolater was abased!
دعواتهhis supplications مسموعةٌheard مرفوعةraised on high
دعواته مسموعةٌ مرفوعة
والحسand sense perception ليسnot يصحis valid فيهconcerning it تشككdoubt
والحس ليس يصح فيه تشكك
His prayers are heard and raised on high,
His supplications are heard and raised on high.
and what the senses attest admits no doubt.
And no doubt concerning sense perception is warranted.
لاno شيءthing أعجبُmore wondrous منthan دليلa proof واضحclear
لا شيء أعجبُ من دليل واضح
يحياlives بهthrough it بعضsome وبعضand others يهلكperish
يحيا به بعض وبعض يهلك
Nothing is more wondrous than a manifest proof:
Nothing is more wondrous than a clear proof
by it some come alive, while others perish.
Through which some live and others perish.
أمسكhold fast بحبلto the rope of محمدMuhammad خيرthe best of الورىhumankind
أمسك بحبل محمد خير الورى
تظفرyou will succeed بقصدكin your aim أيهاO you المستمسكone who holds fast
تظفر بقصدك أيها المستمسك
Hold fast to the rope of Muhammad, the best of humankind;
Hold fast to the rope of Muhammad, the best of humankind;
you will attain your aim, O you who hold fast.
You will attain your aim, O you who hold fast.
وإذاand if عجبتyou marvel لغايةat a pinnacle فيin رفعةeminence
وإذا عجبت لغاية في رفعة
فمحلّthen the station of أحمدّAhmad غايةa pinnacle لاnot تدركis reached
فمحلّ أحمدّ غاية لا تدرك
And if you marvel at a summit of exalted rank,
And if you marvel at a pinnacle of eminence,
the station of Ahmad is a summit beyond all reach.
Then Ahmad's station is a pinnacle beyond reach.
