ي فإنها النور المبين
Live by the legacy of the
Act according to the Prophet's traditions,

واقبلand accept نصيحتهاtheir counsel ففيfor in
واقبل نصيحتها ففي
هاthem (completes 'in them') العزّglory والشرفand honor المكينfirmly established
ها العزّ والشرف المكين
Accept its counsel, for within
And accept their counsel, for in
it lie glory and firmly established honor.

واشددand strengthen يمينكyour right hand بالشريwith the sacred law (partial word)
واشدد يمينك بالشري
عةcompletion of 'sacred law' إنهاindeed it is السببthe cord المتينfirm
عة إنها السبب المتين
Hold fast with your right hand to the Sacred
And strengthen your right hand with the sacred law;
Law: it is the unbreakable bond.

خيرthe best of البريةcreation أحمدAhmad
خير البرية أحمد
والحقُّand the truth يصحبهaccompanies it اليقينcertainty
والحقُّ يصحبه اليقين
Ahmad is the best of all creation,
The best of creation is Ahmad,
and certainty ever accompanies the truth.
and the truth is accompanied by certainty.
ذوendowed with قوَّةstrength عندin the sight of الإلGod (partial word)
ذو قوَّة عند الإل
هcompletion of 'God' مقرّبbrought near منهto Him مكينhigh in rank
ه مقرّب منه مكين
Possessed of strength in the sight of
Endowed with strength in God's sight,
God, brought near to Him, secure in rank.

زانadorned النبيُّونthe prophets الورىhumankind
زان النبيُّون الورى
ومحمَّدand Muhammad لهمfor them مزينone who adorns
ومحمَّد لهم مزين
The prophets adorned humankind,
The prophets adorned humankind,
and Muhammad is the one who adorns them.
and Muhammad adorns them.
هادٍa guide إلىto طُرُقِthe paths of النجاsalvation (partial word)
هادٍ إلى طُرُقِ النجا
ةcompletion of 'salvation' مؤيدsupported فيهاtherein أمينtrustworthy
ة مؤيد فيها أمين
A guide toward the paths of
A guide to the paths of salvation,
salvation, divinely aided therein and trustworthy.

والهجand speak continually بمدحِin praise of الهاشمthe Hashimite (partial word)
والهج بمدحِ الهاشم
يcompletion of 'the Hashimite' فإنهfor indeed he is الحصنthe fortress الحصينimpregnable
ي فإنه الحصن الحصين
Be constant in praising the
And speak continually in praise of the Hashimite,

ولئنand indeed, if فعلتyou do فلنthen will not تفوelude (partial word)
ولئن فعلت فلن تفو
تكcompletion of 'elude you' بعدafter ذاthis دنياworldly life ودينand faith
تك بعد ذا دنيا ودين
And if you do so, never will
And if indeed you do, they will not elude
worldly good or faith thereafter elude you.
