وَلَولاand were it not for غيرُهُsomeone other than him لَكَشَفتُI would have exposed عَنهُabout him
وَلَولا غيرُهُ لَكَشَفتُ عَنهُ
وَعَنand about نُمِّيّهhis forebear الطَبَعthe filthy اللَّعينِthe accursed
وَعَن نُمِّيّه الطَبَع اللَّعينِ
And were it not for another, I would have exposed him,
And his filthy, accursed forebear.
تَرَكنَthey (feminine) left زُهاءَZuhāʾ ذيDhū (possessor of) سَمُرٍSamur (acacias) شِمالاًto the left
تَرَكنَ زُهاءَ ذي سَمُرٍ شِمالاً
وَذاand Dhū (possessor of) نِهياNihyā وَنِهياand Nihyā عَنon يَمينِthe right
وَذا نِهيا وَنِهيا عَن يَمينِ
They left Zuhāʾ of Dhū Samur to the left,
And Dhū Nihyā and Nihyā to the right.
