أَفرِغpour out لهاfor her مِنfrom ذيa place with صَفيحٍflat stone أَوقَحاhard
أَفرِغ لها مِن ذي صَفيحٍ أَوقَحا
مِنfrom هَزمَةٍa hollow جابَتhas cleft صَموداًa solid rock أَبدَجاbroad
مِن هَزمَةٍ جابَت صَموداً أَبدَجا
Pour out for her from a place of hard, flat stone,
Pour into her from the jar impudence
From a hollow that has cleft a broad, solid rock.
From a defeat that brought obstinacy forever foolish
