تَ سِوى ذِكرِكَ الَّذي لا يَغيبُ
I find solace in nothing when you are absent,
I find no solace in anything when you are gone
save the remembrance of you, which is never absent.
Except in your memory that does not fade

You, not those seated with me, are my solace; and though you are
You are my comfort when alone, even if

You are far away, for sadness in you remains near
