Rose-red, a young gazelle quaffs it eagerly,
As though it were pressed from his cheek.

My heart has remained, since I fell in love with him,
Blind from estrangement, unable to see.

Slender-waisted, he has never smiled in laughter,
Since his birth, without jewels losing their market.
