Ah, my two friends, both of whom
O my two friends who both alike
Answer ‘At your service!’ in times of misfortune,
Respond to my call in time of need,

Help me against a gazelle—I have been made his portion,
Help me hunt a gazelle made my prey
Yet I have no share in him as long as I live.
As long as I live that is my share
