وَاللَهِ يا اِبنَ الأَعمَشِ المُبتَلى

وَاللَهِ يا اِبنَ الأَعمَشِ المُبتَلى

في دُبرِهِ بِالخَبَثِ المَحضِ

في دُبرِهِ بِالخَبَثِ المَحضِ

By God, O son of al-Aʿmash, afflicted

By God, O son of Al-A'mash the afflicted

in his anus with sheer depravity:

In his posterior with pure mischief

لَو يَقدِرُ المِسكينُ مِمّا بِهِ

لَو يَقدِرُ المِسكينُ مِمّا بِهِ

لَاِستَدخَلَ الفيشَةَ بِالعَرضِ

لَاِستَدخَلَ الفيشَةَ بِالعَرضِ

if the poor wretch could, given what ails him,

If only the poor man could do something about what ails him

he would insert the head of a penis into himself sideways.

He would stick the lancet into the width

أَنتَ الَّذي يَملِكُ أَضعافَ ما

أَنتَ الَّذي يَملِكُ أَضعافَ ما

حَواهُ قارونُ مِنَ البُغضِ

حَواهُ قارونُ مِنَ البُغضِ

You are the one who possesses many times what

You who owns multiples of what

Qarun amassed—but yours is hatred.

Qarun contained of hatred

لَتَعلَمَن أَنَّ الرَدى كُلَّهُ

لَتَعلَمَن أَنَّ الرَدى كُلَّهُ

حَتمٌ عَلى الراتِعِ في عِرضي

حَتمٌ عَلى الراتِعِ في عِرضي

You shall surely learn that utter doom

You will surely know that all destruction

is inevitable for whoever grazes on my honor.

Is destined for the shameless among us

لَو فَرَّ شَيءٌ قَطُّ مِن شَكلِهِ

لَو فَرَّ شَيءٌ قَطُّ مِن شَكلِهِ

فَرَّ إِذَن بَعضُكَ مِن بَعضِ

فَرَّ إِذَن بَعضُكَ مِن بَعضِ

If anything had ever fled from its own kind,

If anything ever fled its form

then one part of you would have fled another.

Then some of you would flee some

كَونُكَ في صُلبِ أَبينا آدَمٍ

كَونُكَ في صُلبِ أَبينا آدَمٍ

أَهبَطَنا جَمعاً إِلى الأَرضِ

أَهبَطَنا جَمعاً إِلى الأَرضِ

Your presence in the loins of our father Adam

Your being in the loins of our father Adam

brought us all down to earth.

Brought us all down together to earth
