إذا الغيث وفى الروض واجب حقه
وزادand adds more فإنthen indeed الغيثthe rain للروضto the meadow ظالمunjust
وزاد فإن الغيث للروض ظالم
When rain has paid the meadow all that is its due,
If the rain gives the meadow its rightful due,
yet gives it more, then rain has wronged the meadow.
and adds more, then the rain is unjust to the meadow.
