إِنَّ شَهْرَ الصِّيامِ إِذْ جاءَ في فَصْ
لِseason (final part of فصل) رَبيعٍspring أَوْدىdid away بِحُسْنٍwith beauty وطِيبِand fragrance
لِ رَبيعٍ أَوْدى بِحُسْنٍ وطِيبِ
Indeed, when the month of fasting comes in the season

of spring, it makes away with beauty and fragrance.

مِfasting (final part of الصوم) حَبيبٌa beloved يَمْشيwalking بِجَنْبِbeside رَقيبِa watcher
مِ حَبيبٌ يَمْشي بِجَنْبِ رَقيبِ
Then the double-petaled rose during the fast seems
So the double-petaled rose during fasting is like
a beloved walking beside a watchful chaperone.
