يقولونَ شهرُ الصوم شهرٌ مبارَكٌ

They say the month of fasting is a blessed month,

They say the fasting month is blessed

They say the Month of Fasting is a blessed month,

and Shawwal is more deserving of blessings than it.

And Shawwal is more blessed than it

But Shawwal is more deserving of the blessings;

لذا فضلهُ ليكن لهذاك طيبهُ

لذا فضلهُ ليكن لهذاك طيبهُ

لشربِكَ فيه الراح بالبَركات

لشربِكَ فيه الراح بالبَركات

This one has its merit; let that one have its sweetness,

So its preference, let it be good for that

Let that one keep its virtue, and this one its delight,

for in it you drink wine with blessings.

For your drinking comfort in it, with blessings

For in it, you drink wine from brimming bowls.
