If I am destined for the Fire, what recourse have I?

If I am for hellfire, then I have no escape,

If I am destined for the Fire, what recourse is mine?

God will torment me and make me wretched.

أو كنتُ للجنّةِ أحيا بها

أو كنتُ للجنّةِ أحيا بها

فما عليكم يا بني الزانيه

فما عليكم يا بني الزانيه

Or if I am destined for Paradise, I shall live there.

Or if I am for paradise, I will live in it,

Or if I am meant for Paradise, to live therein,

Then what is it to you, O sons of the adulteress?

So what is it to you, O sons of adulteresses?

Then what is it to you, O sons of whores?
