My Prince, you have changed
My prince has turned away from his covenant,
As long as you were devoted to me
And has not remained steadfast in my affection.
Leave me burning
He has abandoned me amidst the fire,
In destruction, in remoteness
In the crushing void and far estrangement.
A gazelle did not suffer this
A gazelle—none else possesses this rank,
For another’s nature from me
Of any creature, within my regard.
If I say “O Master” one day
If ever I call out, "O my Master,"
He says “O my slave”
He replies one day, "O my slave."
