دعوا غناءَ سماعه

وابدوا بنيكِ سماعه

وابدوا بنيكِ سماعه

Leave Sama‘ah’s singing aside,

Leave off your singing and listen,

Forsake the songs of idle ears,

and begin by fucking Sama‘ah.

Begin listening, my lads.

And show your sons how duty hears.

ثوروا إليه ونادوا

ثوروا إليه ونادوا

إنّ الصلاةَ جماعه

إنّ الصلاةَ جماعه

Rush toward him and call out:

Cry out to him, call out:

Rise up to him and call the nation:

“Indeed, prayer is communal!”

"The prayers must be said together!"

"True prayer is held in congregation."

فذاك رأي وحزمٌ

فذاك رأي وحزمٌ

وما سواه رَقاعه

وما سواه رَقاعه

For that is sound judgment and resolve,

That is wisdom and resolution,

For this is wisdom and firm intent,

and anything else is foolishness.

Anything else is mere foolishness.

And all else is foolish sentiment.
