I have comforted my soul with solitude;
I find solace in endless wandering,
I have found solace in my solitude,
I desire no substitute for it.
Not wanting any alternative to its boundlessness.
Desiring no exchange or substitute.

Poised on the brink of death,
Though hidden sorrow dwells in the heights of purpose,
Standing upon the very brink of death,
harboring deep-seated sorrow.
The determination to attain has lasting dwelling places within me.
Nursing a grief that lives within the breath.

refuges standing before me [syntax unclear].
Elevating herself through grace and stature.
Appear to me as sanctuaries wait.

find a way to visit him.
To reap from me words and tales.
Nor find a path to seek a meeting there.

If this continues, life remains,
She cast aside the watch of prying eyes,
to reap talk and gossip.
But little of me will remain for it.
To harvest only gossip and the lies.

If this lasts, there will be life—
If this persists, my life will surely cease,
and may I not live on for it, even briefly.
Nor shall I linger for a moment's peace.
