قَدalready صَكَّhe drew up a writ ليfor me بِالقُربِfor nearness مِنto سَيِّديmy lord
قَد صَكَّ لي بِالقُربِ مِن سَيِّدي
وَدارَand circulated صَكّيmy writ فيin الدَواوينِthe administrative offices
وَدارَ صَكّي في الدَواوينِ
He has drawn up a writ for me granting nearness to my lord.
My seal was struck near my master
A deed of closeness to my master has been struck,
And my writ has circulated through the administrative offices.
And my affairs recorded in the archives
And my writ has circulated through the bureaus,
وَاستَأذَنَand sought permission الكاتِبُthe scribe فيfor خَتمِهِsealing it
وَاستَأذَنَ الكاتِبُ في خَتمِهِ
وَقَدand already دَعَواthey called لِلخَتمِfor sealing بِالطينِfor clay
وَقَد دَعَوا لِلخَتمِ بِالطينِ
And the scribe has sought permission to seal it.
The scribe sought leave for his seal
The scribe has sought permission to affix the seal,
And they have already called for clay for sealing.
And called for clay to seal with
And they have called for the clay to set the stamp.
