هارونُ إِنَّكَ لِلساداتِ مِن مُضَرٍ

هارونُ إِنَّكَ لِلساداتِ مِن مُضَرٍ

وَخَيرُ قَحطانَ عُثمانَ اِبنُ عُثمانِ

وَخَيرُ قَحطانَ عُثمانَ اِبنُ عُثمانِ

Harun, you indeed belong among the lords of Mudar.

O Harun, you are indeed of the chiefs of Muḍar,

Harun, truly you are of the masters of Mudar,

And the best of Qahtan is Uthman, son of Uthman.

And the best of Qaḥṭān is ʿUthmān, son of ʿUthmān.

And the finest of Qahtan is Uthman ibn Uthman.

هارونُ إِنَّكَ لِلساداتِ مِن مُضَرٍ

هارونُ إِنَّكَ لِلساداتِ مِن مُضَرٍ

وَإِنَّ سَيفَكَ مِن أَبناءِ قَحطانِ

وَإِنَّ سَيفَكَ مِن أَبناءِ قَحطانِ

Harun, you indeed belong among the lords of Mudar.

O Harun, you are indeed of the chiefs of Muḍar,

Harun, truly you are of the masters of Mudar,

And indeed your sword is one of the sons of Qahtan.

And your sword is indeed from the sons of Qaḥṭān.

And indeed your sword is of the sons of Qahtan.

فَاِشدُد يَدَيكَ أَميرَ المُؤمِنينَ بِهِ

فَاِشدُد يَدَيكَ أَميرَ المُؤمِنينَ بِهِ

فَما لِسَيفِكَ في الأَسيافِ مِن ثانِ

فَما لِسَيفِكَ في الأَسيافِ مِن ثانِ

So hold fast to him with both hands, Commander of the Faithful.

So strengthen, O Commander of the Faithful, your hands with it,

So hold fast to him, O Commander of the Faithful,

For your sword has no equal among swords.

For among swords there is no equal to your sword.

For your sword has no equal among all blades.
