    Wine's charms have reproached you.

Or have time's misfortunes changed you,

so you turned your face from aged wine

that smiles to reveal pearls and fragments of gold?

A coy man with a nasal lilt hastens with it,

    his glances kohled with magic.

And you have forgotten what you said when you mixed it,

and it showed you the likeness of the Eagle's stars:

“Never think that wine from a jar

and sorrow can meet within one breast.”
