Do you not see that the sun has entered Aries,

And time's balance stands upright and even,

And the birds have sung after their silence,

And the wine has completed its full year,

And the earth has put on, from its adornments,

An embroidery of plants you would take for robes?

So drink amid time's freshness, for

The face of time has grown youthful.

Life short, and stretches out hope.

It plays like a mirage in the cup of

The company, when its bubbles join together.

“Serve it neat,” he says when you mix it for him—

The one who cannot bear much.

Beauty and fragrance, in which you see the ideal.
