The goshawk is the one the crowds revere.

يَصيدُ ذا الكُركِيَّ لا يَنثَني

يَصيدُ ذا الكُركِيَّ لا يَنثَني

وَجَهدُ هَذا فَرخُ نَقّازِ

وَجَهدُ هَذا فَرخُ نَقّازِ

This one hunts the crane without turning back,

Whose kite does not waver

For he hunts down the crane, unswerving, quick,

while the other's utmost catch is a hopping bird's chick.

While this chick struggles

While this one's effort is a sparrow's chick.
