تَمَثَّلُ لي جَهَنَّمُ حينَ يَبدو
خَيالُsilhouette الكَبشِthe ram مِنfrom تَحتِbeneath السَقيفَهthe roofed shelter
خَيالُ الكَبشِ مِن تَحتِ السَقيفَه
Hell takes shape before me when there appears
Hell is embodied when
Hell itself takes shape before me when appears
the ram’s silhouette from beneath the roofed shelter.
The ram's shadow appears beneath the water trough
The phantom of the ram from beneath the shed;
إِذاwhen رُفِعَتwas raised صَحيفَتُهُhis scroll إِلَيهِto him
إِذا رُفِعَت صَحيفَتُهُ إِلَيهِ
رَأىhe saw كُلَّall العَجائِبِthe wonders فيin الصَحيفَهthe scroll
رَأى كُلَّ العَجائِبِ في الصَحيفَه
When his scroll is presented to him,
As his page is raised towards him
When his scroll of deeds is lifted up to him,
he sees all the wonders in the scroll.
He sees all wonders on the page
He sees every wonder in the page outspread.
