أَلا قُل لِأَمينِ اللَ

أَلا قُل لِأَمينِ اللَ

هِ وَاِبنِ القادَةِ الساسَه

هِ وَاِبنِ القادَةِ الساسَه

Listen, say to God's trusted one,

Tell the trusted one of God

Oh, say to the Trustee of

and son of the ruling leaders:

And the son of the wise leader

God, son of the leaders high-bred:

إِذا ما ناكِثٌ سَرَّ

إِذا ما ناكِثٌ سَرَّ

كَ أَن تُفقِدهُ راسَه

كَ أَن تُفقِدهُ راسَه

If, regarding an oath-breaker, it pleases

That if a traitor betrays your secret

If a traitor brings joy to

you to deprive him of his head,

So that you lose your head over it

You, that he should lose his head,

فَلا تَقتُلهُ بِالسَيفِ

فَلا تَقتُلهُ بِالسَيفِ

وَزَوِّجهُ بِعَبّاسَه

وَزَوِّجهُ بِعَبّاسَه

then do not kill him with the sword,

Do not kill him with the sword

Do not slay him with the sword,

but marry him to ʿAbbāsa.

Marry him to an ugly woman

But to Abbasa see him wed.
