ظهرت لعين الكون من غير رؤية

ظهرت لعين الكون من غير رؤية

وغير ابتداء ظاهر الأحدية

وغير ابتداء ظاهر الأحدية

You became manifest to the eye of the universe without being seen,

You appeared to the eyes of the universe without vision

and without beginning, manifest in absolute oneness.

And without beginning, the evident Oneness

ظهورك بالاحسان يا ظاهر انجلى

ظهورك بالاحسان يا ظاهر انجلى

على وجه ذرات الوجود البديعة

على وجه ذرات الوجود البديعة

Your manifestation through beneficence, O Manifest One, shone forth

Your appearance with kindness, O Evident One, be radiant

upon the face of existence’s wondrous atoms.

Upon the face of the particles of splendid existence

ظهرت عياناً لا لإدراك باصر

ظهرت عياناً لا لإدراك باصر

ولكن بتفريج الكروب العظيمة

ولكن بتفريج الكروب العظيمة

You became plainly manifest, not to a beholder’s perception,

You appeared plainly, not for comprehension by sights

but through the relief of great afflictions.

But by relieving the great sorrows

وبالقدرة المخصوص ربي بشأنها

وبالقدرة المخصوص ربي بشأنها

على السل والايجاب والممكنية

على السل والايجاب والممكنية

And through the power reserved to You alone, my Lord,

And by the special power, my Lord, regarding it

over withdrawal, affirmation, and possibility.

On asking and answering and possibility

وبالغلب والاجبار والقهر سيدي

وبالغلب والاجبار والقهر سيدي

فما ذرة إلا لعلمك ذلت

فما ذرة إلا لعلمك ذلت

And through supremacy, compulsion, and subjugation, my Master—

And by overcoming and compulsion and conquest, my Master

for no atom has failed to bow before Your knowledge.

So every particle submitted to Your knowledge

وبالمظهر الأسنى بكل دلالة

وبالمظهر الأسنى بكل دلالة

يقينية لم تخف عن ذي بصيرة

يقينية لم تخف عن ذي بصيرة

And through the most radiant manifestation, with every sign

And by the finest appearance, with every indicative

of certainty, hidden from no one endowed with insight.

Certainty that did not escape one with insight

وبالعون والترزيق يا ظاهر انجلى

وبالعون والترزيق يا ظاهر انجلى

ظهورك والألطاف والمددية

ظهورك والألطاف والمددية

And through aid and sustenance, O Manifest One, shone forth

And by help and provision, O Evident One, be radiant

Your manifestation, Your subtle kindnesses, and Your sustaining aid.

Your appearance, and kindnesses, and aids

وكونك أظهرت الظواهر معلم

وكونك أظهرت الظواهر معلم

يدل على السلطان للظاهرية

يدل على السلطان للظاهرية

And Your making outward things manifest is a sign

And Your making the appearances manifest, taught

pointing to the sovereignty of manifestness.

It indicates the authority of the Evident One

وبالحجة العظمى التي أنت أهلها

وبالحجة العظمى التي أنت أهلها

على الخلق واستولت على كل حجة

على الخلق واستولت على كل حجة

And through the supreme proof that is Yours by right

And by the greatest proof which You are worthy of

against creation, and that has prevailed over every argument.

Over the creation, and seized every proof

وبالفعل والآيات يا رب والغنى

وبالفعل والآيات يا رب والغنى

لذاتك والأحياء والأحدية

لذاتك والأحياء والأحدية

And through action and signs, O Lord, and the self-sufficiency

And by deed and signs, O Lord, and Your self-sufficiency

of Your essence, and the living, and absolute oneness.

For Your essence, and the living, and Oneness

بسر الظهور الحق هب لي قوة ال

بسر الظهور الحق هب لي قوة ال

ظهور بما نرضى على كل ذرة

ظهور بما نرضى على كل ذرة

By the mystery of true manifestation, grant me the power of

By the secret of the real appearance, grant me the power of

prevailing, in ways we approve, over every atom.

Appearing with what we approve upon every particle
