تقدست يا قدوس عن جنس علة

تقدست يا قدوس عن جنس علة

وعن حد معلول ورسم طبيعة

You are exalted in holiness, O Most Holy, beyond the category of cause,

You are sanctified, O Holy One, above the genus of fault,

And beyond the bounds of an effect and the form of nature.

And above the limit of the contingent and the form of nature.

لوجهك يا قدوس كل قداسة

لوجهك يا قدوس كل قداسة

بلا شرط تقييد ولا حصر نسبة

بلا شرط تقييد ولا حصر نسبة

To Your Face, O Most Holy, belongs all holiness,

For Your face, O Holy One, all holiness,

Without restrictive condition or limiting relation.

Without condition or restriction or lineage.

وما مدرك التقديس مني وقدره

وما مدرك التقديس مني وقدره

لدى سبحات النور والقدسية

لدى سبحات النور والقدسية

And what is my grasp of holiness, and what is its worth

And what is my sanctification and its extent,

Before the splendors of light and sanctity?

In the presence of the splendor and holiness of Your Light?

وما هو يا قدوس يبلغ كنه ما

وما هو يا قدوس يبلغ كنه ما

لوجهك من قدس ومجد وعزة

لوجهك من قدس ومجد وعزة

Nor can it, O Most Holy, fathom the essence of what

And what, O Holy One, can reach the essence of what

Your Face possesses of holiness, glory, and might.

Your face has of holiness, glory, and might?

تنزهت عما شكل الوهم مطلقاً

تنزهت عما شكل الوهم مطلقاً

وعن حيطة التعقيل والنظرية

وعن حيطة التعقيل والنظرية

You are utterly beyond whatever imagination fashions,

You transcended what fancy absolutely imagined,

And beyond the compass of reasoning and speculation.

And the grasp of reason and theory.

تقدست عن مثل وضد وشركة

تقدست عن مثل وضد وشركة

وفصل ووصل واتحاد وخلطة

وفصل ووصل واتحاد وخلطة

You are exalted in holiness beyond any equal, opposite, or partnership,

You are sanctified above likeness, opposite, partnership,

And separation, connection, union, and mingling.

Division, union, unification, and mixture.

تقدست ذاتاً عن وجود معلل

تقدست ذاتاً عن وجود معلل

يغاير يا قدوس نفس الهوية

يغاير يا قدوس نفس الهوية

In Your essence, You are exalted in holiness beyond any caused existence

Your essence is sanctified above contingent existence,

That differs, O Most Holy, from Your very identity.

Differing, O Holy One, from identity itself.

غني على الاطلاق عن نيل حادث

غني على الاطلاق عن نيل حادث

لذاتك لا عن موجب فيك مثبت

لذاتك لا عن موجب فيك مثبت

You are absolutely self-sufficient, needing to acquire nothing created,

Absolutely without need to obtain accident,

By Your essence, not through a necessitating cause posited within You.

Not contingent within You or necessitated.

بسر اسمك القدوس قدس حقيقتي

بسر اسمك القدوس قدس حقيقتي

وحقق بتقديسات وجهك همتي

وحقق بتقديسات وجهك همتي

Through the mystery of Your name, the Most Holy, sanctify my reality,

By the mystery of Your Holy Name, sanctify my reality,

And fulfill my aspiration through the sanctifications of Your Face.

And by the sanctifications of Your Face, fulfill my quest.

وقدس مقاماتي وقدس مشاهدي

وقدس مقاماتي وقدس مشاهدي

وقدس يقيني فيك من كل شبهة

وقدس يقيني فيك من كل شبهة

And sanctify my stations, and sanctify my contemplative visions,

And sanctify my spiritual stations, and sanctify my visions,

And purify my certainty in You of every doubt.

And sanctify my certainty in You from every doubt.

وقدس صفاتي كي تليق نزاهتي

وقدس صفاتي كي تليق نزاهتي

بتسبيح تقديسات نور الالوهة

بتسبيح تقديسات نور الالوهة

And sanctify my attributes, that my purity may be worthy

And sanctify my attributes, so my purity suits

Of glorifying the sanctifications of the light of divinity.

The glorification of the sanctifications of the Light of Divinity.
