ويا واجد الحق الإلهي لم يفت

كمالك حق من حقوق الألوهة

كمالك حق من حقوق الألوهة

O Possessor of the divine Reality, no rightful due

And O Possessor of divine truth, never has

of divinity has escaped Your perfection.

Any prerogative of divinity eluded Your perfection.

وجدت الغنى الذاتي يا مطلق الغنى

وجدت الغنى الذاتي يا مطلق الغنى

بلا سبق أعواز على الواجدية

بلا سبق أعواز على الواجدية

You possess intrinsic self-sufficiency, O absolutely Self-Sufficient One,

You possess intrinsic self-sufficiency, O One of absolute self-sufficiency,

with no prior need preceding Your possession.

Without any want preceding Your possession.

وأوجدت آيات الوجود فلكها

وأوجدت آيات الوجود فلكها

دليل وجود اللّه والموجدية

دليل وجود اللّه والموجدية

You brought the signs of existence into being; their celestial sphere is

And You brought into being the signs of existence; their sphere

a proof of God’s existence and creative power.

Is proof of God's existence and His power to create.

وجدت الذي لا بد منه لذاته

وجدت الذي لا بد منه لذاته

من الواجب الذاتي للصفتية

من الواجب الذاتي للصفتية

You possess that which is indispensable in itself:

You possess what is indispensable in itself,

intrinsic necessity with respect to the attributes.

Of what is intrinsically necessary for the attributes.

وجدت الكمال المطلق السرمدي في

وجدت الكمال المطلق السرمدي في

صفاتك والأسماء من كل رتبة

صفاتك والأسماء من كل رتبة

You possess absolute, everlasting perfection in

You possess absolute, eternal perfection in

Your attributes and Names, at every rank.

Your attributes and names, at every level.

وجودك وجدان الحقائق يقتضي

وجودك وجدان الحقائق يقتضي

على مقتضى ايجاد علم الحقيقة

على مقتضى ايجاد علم الحقيقة

Your existence entails the realization of realities,

Your existence entails the apprehension of realities,

as required by bringing the knowledge of Reality into being.

According to the requirements of bringing forth knowledge of reality.

وفي أوجه الأسماء ما أنت واجد

وفي أوجه الأسماء ما أنت واجد

به في مقامات الشهود تجلت

به في مقامات الشهود تجلت

And in the facets of the Names, that which You find through it

And in the facets of the names lies what You possess;

has manifested in the stations of witnessing.

Through it they have become manifest in the stations of witnessing.

فهب لي بأسرار الذي أنت واجد

فهب لي بأسرار الذي أنت واجد

فقيدي من كل الحظوظ العلية

فقيدي من كل الحظوظ العلية

So grant me, through the mysteries of what You possess,

So grant me, through the mysteries of what You possess,

what I lack of every lofty portion.

What I lack of all the exalted portions.

أنا الفاقد المضطر كل مصالحي

أنا الفاقد المضطر كل مصالحي

لما تقتضيه فاقتي وعبودتي

لما تقتضيه فاقتي وعبودتي

I am the destitute one, desperately needing all that benefits me,

I am the one who lacks, in dire need; all my interests

as my poverty and servitude require.

Are for what my poverty and servitude demand.

ومن حيث وجداني وجودك واجد

ومن حيث وجداني وجودك واجد

غني بما أرجوه من باب وجهتي

غني بما أرجوه من باب وجهتي

And insofar as I apprehend Your existence, I possess

And insofar as I find Your being, I am a possessor,

riches in what I hope for from the gate toward which I turn.

Rich in what I hope for from the gate toward which I turn.

أنلني وجداناً ووجداً ورتبة

أنلني وجداناً ووجداً ورتبة

من الحظ في ديني وفي دنيويتي

من الحظ في ديني وفي دنيويتي

Let me attain realization, ecstasy, and a rank—

Grant me realization, ecstasy, and a degree

a share in my faith and in my worldly life.

Of good fortune in my faith and in my worldly life.
