Exalted are You, O Everlasting One, without temporal limit,
Come, O Everlasting One, without limitation,
as You were before the before, in beginningless eternity.
As You were before all time in eternity.

Your existence, my Lord, is necessary, with no endpoint
Your existence, my Lord, is necessary, not finite,
measured by spans of time and numerical reckoning.
To be measured by eras or numerals.

وكلand every بقاءabiding تحتهbeneath it تحتunder غايةa limit
Your abiding, O Everlasting One, is abiding by its own essence,
Your permanence, O Everlasting One, is of Your essence,
and every abiding beneath it is bound by a limit.
While all permanence is under an aim.

تعالىexalted is He بلاwithout ابقاءpreserving شيءanything مثبتestablished
And through the Truth He enriches creation, while the Truth abides.
And by the truth, You suffice the creation, and the truth remains,
Exalted is He, without keeping any established thing in being.
Transcendent without affirming a thing.

And the ages come to an end, while the Truth stands firm,
And ages pass away while the truth stays,
as He was before the before, with no end.
As it was before all time, without an end.

Their permanence is an impossible state.

A beginningless abiding, renewed by no further abiding,
An ancient permanence, no permanence renews it,
nor brought to an end by the events of creation.
Nor do the decrees of creation exhaust it.

A beginningless abiding: all things perish before it,
An ancient permanence that destroys all before it,
and it abides without condition or temporal qualification.
And remains without condition or change.

By the mystery of the abiding that endures of itself,
By the secret of permanence, continuous in Your essence,
hasten, my God, the lifting of my affliction and my ordeal.
My God, reveal and relieve my affliction and trial.

I am Your mortal servant, whose abiding is brief;
I am Your ephemeral servant, brief in permanence,
watch over my life, as long as I remain, with a glance.
Take care of my life for as long as I remain with a glance.
