You have the power to grant me victory and exalt my majesty,

Be strong in supporting me and glorifying my awe

and strengthen my supporters and raise my word high.

And backing my supporters and raising my word

قوي على تدمير خصمي وقصمه

قوي على تدمير خصمي وقصمه

والقائه في هوة العدمية

والقائه في هوة العدمية

You have the power to destroy my foe and shatter him,

Be strong in destroying my enemy and breaking him

and cast him into the abyss of nothingness.

And casting him into the abyss of oblivion

قوي على انهاض جدي وإن كبا

قوي على انهاض جدي وإن كبا

وانعاش ضعفي عند وهني بقوة

وانعاش ضعفي عند وهني بقوة

You have the power to raise my fortune, even if it has stumbled,

Be strong in rising above my wounds though numerous

and revive me in my weakness with strength when I grow frail.

And reviving my weakness when I am faint with power

قوي على اركاس كل مصوب

قوي على اركاس كل مصوب

إلى حرمات اللّه كل مصيبة

إلى حرمات اللّه كل مصيبة

You have the power to cast down everyone who aims

Be strong in repelling every misfortune

every calamity at Allah's sanctities.

Directed at God's sanctities each calamity

قوي على التغليب والفتح عاجلاً

قوي على التغليب والفتح عاجلاً

لأهلك أهل العدل في أي بقعة

لأهلك أهل العدل في أي بقعة

You have the power to grant victory and conquest swiftly

Be strong in overpowering and conquering swiftly

to your people, the people of justice, in any place.

The people of justice wherever they may be

فجرد نصر الاستقامة قوة

فجرد نصر الاستقامة قوة

تصول بسيف من سيوفك مصلت

تصول بسيف من سيوفك مصلت

So muster a force in support of uprightness,

So unleash the victory of integrity with power

that charges with a drawn sword from among your swords.

That charges with a sword of Your swords drawn

فليست قوى الأعدا وإن جد جدها

فليست قوى الأعدا وإن جد جدها

بقائمة للقوة الأزلية

بقائمة للقوة الأزلية

For the enemies' forces, however fierce their striving,

For the powers of the enemies though they be intense

cannot withstand eternal power.

Cannot stand up to the eternal power

وما أثر الأحداث وهي ضعيفة

وما أثر الأحداث وهي ضعيفة

مؤثرة للقوة القدرية

مؤثرة للقوة القدرية

Nor can the impact of events, weak as they are,

And the impact of events though they be weak

affect the power of divine decree.

Does not affect the destined power

وليس لها من مكنة لذواتها

وليس لها من مكنة لذواتها

ولكن بتأثير القضا كل مكنة

ولكن بتأثير القضا كل مكنة

And they have no power of their own,

And they have no power of their own

but all power comes through the working of divine decree.

Rather every power is by decree's influence

ضعيف أنادي تحت قوة قادر

ضعيف أنادي تحت قوة قادر

قوي ولا سلطان لي غير ذلتي

قوي ولا سلطان لي غير ذلتي

Weak, I cry out beneath the might of One who is able,

I am weak, crying out under the power of the Able

and mighty; I have no authority save my abasement.

Be strong and I have no authority except my humility

فما ظالمي من قبضة القهر خارج

فما ظالمي من قبضة القهر خارج

ولام من أليم الأخذ يوماً بمفلت

ولام من أليم الأخذ يوماً بمفلت

So my oppressor is not beyond the grip of overpowering might,

So my oppressor is not beyond the grip of coercion

nor will he ever escape the pain of being seized.

Nor is the one who painfully seizes me ever escaping
