Dispel my soul’s ignorance, O All-Knowing, and purify it;

by the sovereign power of the secret of the Name “the All-Knowing,” make my soul steadfast.

افض لي علماً يا عليم مقرباً

إليك وقدس يا عليم أنيتي

Pour forth for me knowledge, O All-Knowing, that draws me near

Pour forth for me knowledge, O All-Knowing, that brings me near

to You; and sanctify, O All-Knowing, my selfhood.

افض لي من العلم اللداني يا علي

م بحراً وحقق يا عليم حقيقتي

Pour forth for me an ocean of knowledge bestowed in Your presence, O All-Know—

Pour forth for me, from divinely bestowed knowledge, O All-

—ing One; and, O All-Knowing, bring my true reality to realization.

Knowing, an ocean; and bring my true being to realization, O All-Knowing.

وهب لي نوراً يا عليم مبصرا

بأنوار سراسم العليم بصيرتي

بأنوار سراسم العليم بصيرتي

Grant me a light, O All-Knowing, that bestows sight

And grant me a light, O All-Knowing, that gives sight

upon my inner vision through the lights of the secret of the Name “the All-Knowing”;

To my inner vision through the lights of the secret of the name 'the All-Knowing.'

وكشفا سنياً يا عليم مجلياً

وكشفا سنياً يا عليم مجلياً

بألطاف سراسم العليم كثيفتي

بألطاف سراسم العليم كثيفتي

and a sublime unveiling, O All-Knowing, clearing

And a sublime unveiling, O All-Knowing, that illumines

my dense nature through the graces of the secret of the Name “the All-Knowing”;

My dense nature through the subtle graces of the secret of the name 'the All-Knowing.'

ووهبا عليمياً فيوض انبساطه

ووهبا عليمياً فيوض انبساطه

تزحزح وهمي يا علمي وظلمتي

تزحزح وهمي يا علمي وظلمتي

and a gift imbued with Knowing, the outpourings of whose unfolding

And a gift from the All-Knowing, whose unfolding outpourings

dislodge my illusion, O my Knowledge, and my darkness,

Dispel my illusion, O my knowledge, and my darkness.

بأنوار ما أودعت من سراسمك ال

عليم بأسرار النفوس الزكية

عليم بأسرار النفوس الزكية

with the lights of what You have deposited from the secret of Your Name, the All-

Through the lights of what You have deposited of the secret of Your name, the

Knowing, within the secrets of purified souls;

All-Knowing, within the secrets of pure souls;

بأرواح ما تلقيه من لطف اسمك ال

عليم بأجسام القلوب الجلية

عليم بأجسام القلوب الجلية

through the spirits of what You bestow from the subtle grace of Your Name, the All-

Through the spirits of what You impart of the subtle grace of Your name, the

Knowing, into the bodies of lucid hearts;

All-Knowing, within the bodies of clear hearts;

بعلمك والامداد من فيض اسمك الع

ليم لأهل القرب والصفوية

ليم لأهل القرب والصفوية

through Your knowledge, and the succor from the outpouring of Your Name, the All-

By Your knowledge and the aid from the outpouring of Your name, the All-

Knowing, for the people of nearness and spiritual purity.

Knowing, for the people of nearness and purity;

بينبوع سراسم العليم أمدني

بينبوع سراسم العليم أمدني

وجل لعقلي كنه كل حقيقة

وجل لعقلي كنه كل حقيقة

Sustain me with the wellspring of the secret of the Name “the All-Knowing,”

Sustain me with the wellspring of the secret of the name 'the All-Knowing,'

and unveil to my mind the innermost essence of every reality.

And reveal to my mind the essence of every reality.

الهي حققني بتأثير اسمك العلي

الهي حققني بتأثير اسمك العلي

م ونور ظاهري وطويتي

م ونور ظاهري وطويتي

My God, realize me through the influence of Your Name, the All-Know—

My God, bring me to realization through the influence of Your name, the All-

—ing, and illuminate my outward being and my inmost heart.

Knowing, and illumine my outward self and my inmost being.
