الهي القريب الحق بالعلم مطلقاً

عن الخلق لا قرب امتزاج وخلطة

My God, truly near in knowledge absolutely

From creation, no nearness of mixing and blending

الهي القريب الحق بالقدرة التي

تؤثر بدءاً لا بشرط وسيطة

My God, truly near in power which

Influences initially without condition or medium

الهي قريب بالاجابة للدعا

قريب من الأحباب قرب محبة

My God, near in answering supplication

Near to loved ones, a nearness of love

الهي قريب الفتح من كل مغلق

الهي قريب الغوث من كل كربة

My God, near is opening from every closed

My God, near is succor from every affliction

الهي قريب الفتح من كل بائس

الهي قريب الرحمة الأبدية

My God, near is the opening for every wretch

My God, near is the eternal mercy

الهي قربي منك قرب تعبد

وقربك مني قرب بر ورحمة

My God, my nearness to You is a nearness of worship

And Your nearness to me is a nearness of kindness and mercy

وكيف ابتعادي عنك قرب سيدا

ه أقرب من حبل الوريد لفطرتي

And how can my distance from You be nearness oh Master

You are closer than the jugular vein to my innate nature

لقربك قربني نجياً مخلصاً

من البعد عن ربي لسوء طريقتي

For Your nearness, bring me near saved and liberated

From distance from my Lord for the evil of my way

الهي أكرمني بقرب اجابتي

فإني مضطر عظيم البلية

My God, honor me with the nearness of answering me

For I am greatly troubled

وعدت بقرب واستجابة دعوة

إذا عرجت عن ذلة وضرورة

And You promised nearness and answering supplication
