And O You who encompass all things in knowledge and mercy,

For nothing exists except between knowledge and mercy.

And O You whose proof is vast, without end,

And O You of vast sovereignty for all eternity,

And O You boundless in generosity, bounty, and self-sufficiency,

A sufficiency without limit or end in time.

And O You who encompass all things in judgment and power,

And in negation and affirmation, without an intermediary.

And O You of vast dominion, exalted in majesty,

Your majesty—beneath it, all might shrinks.

Exalted are You! The universe grew narrow around me, and I fell into

Straits from my sin and from the hardship of my life.

My God, matters You know have closed in on me,

So my breast, my patience, and my resourcefulness are constricted by them.

My God, I have no way out of a strait,

If my Lord's relief does not widen my strait.

My God, grant me abundantly the best of good,

And relieve, my God, all my distress and anguish.

And grant me breadth in my certainty and my path

To You, and in my knowledge, my honor, and my sufficiency.

For what You have widened is not narrow, O You of boundless giving,

Nor is any gift You have made abundant scant.
