مفيض قوى الأعيان حسب ذواتها

وتأثيرها ذا القوة المطلقية

Bestower of the powers of beings according to their essences,

and of their effects, O Possessor of absolute power;

وذا القوة الفعال حسب اختياره

بلا قاسر أو قيد طبع وعلة

O Possessor of power, who acts according to His choice,

without compulsion or the constraint of nature and cause;

وذا القوة الممتاز في ذات فعله

وقوته عن شبه فعل وقوة

O Possessor of power, distinct in the essence of His action,

and in His power, from any likeness of action or power;

وذا القوة الدراك بالذات مطلقاً

لأجزاء مقضياته القدرية

O Possessor of power, who perceives directly and without limit

the parts of His decrees of destiny;

وذا القوة الدراك لا بوسيطة

ولا لانتها وقت وعد وشدة

O Possessor of power, who perceives without an intermediary,

and without a limit of time, number, or intensity;

وذا القوة الغلاب ذا القوة التي

لها الثبت والاثبات في كل مثبت

O Possessor of prevailing power, Possessor of the power

to which constancy and affirmation belong in all that is established;

وذا القوة القهار قوة ذاته

بحسن انصاف الذات بالعظمية

O Possessor of overpowering power, the power of His essence

accords the essence its due in majesty;

بقوتك العظمى بقدر نفوذها

عن المدد الماهي والحيزية

By Your supreme power, to the extent of its reach

beyond essential and spatial bounds;

بقوتك العظمى بقدر نفوذها

وتأثيرها الأشياء وفق المشيئة

by Your supreme power, to the extent of its reach

and its effect on things according to Your will,

افض لي قوى في القلب والنفس والحجا

وفي الصالحات العلم والعملية

pour strength into my heart, soul, and reason,

and into righteous deeds of knowledge and practice;

ولا تعد يا ذا القوة الخصم بطشة

فأنت عزيز ذو انتقام وبطشة

and do not count the adversary’s blow, O Possessor of power:

You are Mighty, possessed of vengeance and force.
