O Self-Sufficient One, Enricher, Yours are dominion and sover-
O You who makes the poor rich, to You belongs the kingdom and power
-eignty; to You I lament my poverty and abasement.
I complain to You of my poverty and humiliation
ياO حميدpraiseworthy in الفعالdeeds ذاPossessor of المنbounty باللطthrough gentleness (start)
يا حميد الفعال ذا المن باللط
فgentleness (end) علىtoward خلقهHis creatures انفbanish عسريmy hardship وقليand my want
ف على خلقه انف عسري وقلي
O You of praiseworthy deeds, Bestower of bounty through gentle-
O You who does good deeds, who has favor upon His creation
-ness toward His creatures, banish my hardship and want.
Relieve my hardship and lessen my worries
ياO كريمGenerous One الرحيمthe Merciful ياO موسعGiver of abundance المنthe Benefactor (start)
يا كريم الرحيم يا موسع المن
عمBenefactor (end) ضاقتhave narrowed لسوءbecause of the meagerness of رزقيmy livelihood سبليmy paths
عم ضاقت لسوء رزقي سبلي
O Generous, Merciful One, O Giver of abundance, Bene-
O Most Generous and Most Merciful, You who expands favors
-factor; my paths have narrowed through my meager livelihood.
My means of livelihood have been straitened, make my ways easy

محسنBenefactor المجملthe Gracious ابتدرنيhasten to me بفضلwith bounty

O lavish Giver, Beneficent, All-Sufficient, Attentive One, the
O You who grants righteousness, sufficiency and care
Benefactor, the Gracious, hasten to me with bounty.
O You who does good, make haste to grant me Your bounty

يا قديم الاحسان ذا الطول يا مع
طيGiver (end) أغثنيsuccor me وحياًswiftly بيسرwith ease وطولand bounty
طي أغثني وحياً بيسر وطول
O You of age-old kindness, Possessor of bounty, O Giv-
O You of ancient kindness, of endless generosity
-er, swiftly succor me with ease and bounty.
Help me live comfortably with ease and abundance
ياO وصولconstant bringer بالخيرof goodness ياO مانحGrantor الوthe Bestower (start)
يا وصول بالخير يا مانح الو
هابBestower (end) هبgrant ليto me منfrom فيضthe overflow of وهبكYour giving سؤليmy wish
هاب هب لي من فيض وهبك سؤلي
O You ever bringing goodness, O Grantor, Be-
O You who reaches with goodness, You who grants desires
-stower, grant me my wish from the overflow of Your giving.
Grant me from the outpouring of Your gifts my request
باسطExpander of الرزقsustenance ابسطexpand ليfor me الرزقsustenance موفوabundant (start)
باسط الرزق ابسط لي الرزق موفو
راًabundant (end) فقدfor indeed شدنيhas bound me افتقاريmy destitution بغلwith a shackle
راً فقد شدني افتقاري بغل
Expander of sustenance, make my sustenance abund-
Expand rizq (provision), make my livelihood ample
-ant; indeed, my destitution has bound me with a shackle.
For poverty has fettered me with shackles
ضاقhas constricted صدريmy breast وعيلand is exhausted صبريmy patience ياO واBoundless One (start)
ضاق صدري وعيل صبري يا وا
سعBoundless One (end) وسعexpand عيشيmy livelihood بأوسعwith the amplest نيلbounty
سع وسع عيشي بأوسع نيل
My breast is constricted and my patience exhausted; O Bound-
My heart and patience are exhausted, O Most Capacious
-less One, expand my livelihood with the amplest bounty.
Expand and make my livelihood most copious
أغلقتhave been closed دونيbefore me المسالكthe paths ياO فتاOpener (start)
أغلقت دوني المسالك يا فتا
حOpener (end) فافتحso open باليسرwith ease ليfor me كلevery قفلlock
ح فافتح باليسر لي كل قفل
The paths have been closed before me; O Open-
The paths have closed before me, O Opener
-er, open every lock for me with ease.
So open with ease every lock for me
ساورتنيhas assailed me البأساءadversity والفقرand poverty ياO مناBestower of grace (start)
ساورتني البأساء والفقر يا منا
نBestower of grace (end) عجلhasten بمنكwith Your bounty المستهلpouring forth
ن عجل بمنك المستهل
Adversity and poverty have assailed me; O Bestow-
Hardship and poverty have befallen me, O Granter of wishes
-er, hasten with Your bounty pouring forth.
Hasten to help this beseeching suppliant

يا منيل الجواد يا مفضل الر
زاقProvider (end) ياO راحمMerciful to المعيلthe one with dependents المقلof scant means
زاق يا راحم المعيل المقل
O Bestower, Generous One, O Giver of favor, Pro-
O You who inclines with generosity, who prefers the givers
-vider, O Merciful to the needy man with dependents.
O You who has mercy on the helpless and weak
ياO مقيتNourisher المبرthe Beneficent ياO واجدAll-Possessing One الموthe Creator (start)
يا مقيت المبر يا واجد المو
جدCreator (end) رزقيmy sustenance باركbestow blessing عليهupon it وزدand increase ليfor me
جد رزقي بارك عليه وزد لي
O Nourisher, Beneficent One, O All-Possessing One, Crea-
O You who brings benefit, You who finds sufficiency
-tor, bless my sustenance and increase it for me.
Bless my rizq and increase it for me
ياO حفياًAttentive One بخلقهtoward His creatures ياO خفيhidden in اللطkindness (start)
يا حفياً بخلقه يا خفي اللط
فkindness (end) أدركattend to حاليmy plight بلطفwith kindness وفضلand bounty
ف أدرك حالي بلطف وفضل
O One gracious to His creatures, O You of hidden kind-
O You who cares for His creation, O You of subtle kindness
-ness, attend to my plight with kindness and bounty.
Recognize my state with grace and favor

ءblessings (end) ولمand did not أستحقI deserve ماwhat أنتYou موليbestow
ء ولم أستحق ما أنت مولي
Originator of creation, You began with bless-
I began with blessings I did not deserve
-ings, though I had not deserved what You bestow.
It is You who originated and created me
فاعدso renew ياO معيدRestorer ماwhat ليسdoes not يغنيenrich
فاعد يا معيد ما ليس يغني
كYou بمنعthrough withholding ولاnor يقلdiminish ببذلthrough giving
ك بمنع ولا يقل ببذل
So renew, O Restorer, what does not enrich
So help, O Restorer, with that which does not impoverish You
You when withheld, nor diminish when bestowed.
Neither decreased by withholding nor exhausted by giving
ياO شكوراًEver-Appreciative One منfrom عبدهHis servant النززthe impetuous one أشعرinspire
يا شكوراً من عبده النزز أشعر
نيme شكراًgratitude فيin أيwhatever كثرis much وقلand is little
ني شكراً في أي كثر وقل
O You who appreciate what His impetuous servant offers, instill
O You who thanks His weak slaves, make me conscious
in me gratitude for whatever is much or little.
To thank You - however much or little
وقليلand little شكرgratitude العبادof the servants وأنتand You الشاthe One who thanks (start)
وقليل شكر العباد وأنت الشا
كرthe One who thanks (end) العبدthe servant للذيfor what منكfrom You توليYou bestow
كر العبد للذي منك تولي
And little is the servants' gratitude, while You are the One who
Little is the thanks of servants, and You are the Thankful
thanks the servant for what You Yourself bestow.
The servant belongs to the One who owns him
