ويا رافعاً من شاءه برشاده

ويا رافعاً من شاءه برشاده

وبالقرب والاسعاد والصفوية

وبالقرب والاسعاد والصفوية

And O You who exalt whomever You will through Your guidance,

O He who raised whom He willed with His guidance,

And through nearness, felicity, and election;

With nearness, happiness, and purity,

ورفعك من تخص سبق مشيئة

ورفعك من تخص سبق مشيئة

ولا بد من انفاذ أمر المشيئة

ولا بد من انفاذ أمر المشيئة

And Your raising those You single out proceeds from a prior act of will,

And raising those He chose was prior destiny,

And the decree of that will must be fulfilled.

The command of destiny must be executed.

ويا رافعاً بالعلم أهل ولائه

ويا رافعاً بالعلم أهل ولائه

على درجات في الحظوظ رفيعة

على درجات في الحظوظ رفيعة

And O You who through knowledge raise those loyal to You,

O He who raised the people of devotion

To lofty degrees in their allotted blessings;

To high degrees of good fortune through knowledge,

ويا رافع الأقدار بالعلم والعلى

ويا رافع الأقدار بالعلم والعلى

إذا كان تقوى اللّه اس البنية

إذا كان تقوى اللّه اس البنية

And O You who raise ranks through knowledge and excellence,

O He who raised destinies through sublime knowledge,

When reverence for God is the foundation of the edifice;

When the fear of God is the foundation.

ويا رافعاً من نال نعماه بالغنى

ويا رافعاً من نال نعماه بالغنى

على شكره والشكر أعظم نعمة

على شكره والشكر أعظم نعمة

And O You who exalt through wealth those who receive Your bounty,

O He who raised those granted blessings with wealth

For their gratitude—and gratitude is the greatest blessing;

To thankfulness, and thankfulness is the greatest blessing,

ويا رافعاً بالعقل والعقل حجة

ويا رافعاً بالعقل والعقل حجة

ولولاه كنا في عداد البهيمة

ولولاه كنا في عداد البهيمة

And O You who exalt through reason—and reason is a proof,

O He who raised through intellect and reason is proof,

And without it, we would be counted among the beasts.

Without it we would be among beasts.

رفعت رفيع المجد والدرجات وال

رفعت رفيع المجد والدرجات وال

ثناء مقام الرسل والملكية

ثناء مقام الرسل والملكية

You have raised—O Exalted in glory, ranks, and

You raised the most glorious in rank and position

Praise—the station of the messengers and angels.

Above the station of messengers and angels,

ويا رافع الأقدار في معارج ال

ويا رافع الأقدار في معارج ال

شهود وساقيها كؤوس المحبة

شهود وساقيها كؤوس المحبة

And O You who raise ranks in the ascents of

O He who raised destinies to witnessing’s ascension

Witnessing, and give them cups of love to drink;

And gave them cups of love to drink.

برفعتك ارفعني ارتفاع موحد

برفعتك ارفعني ارتفاع موحد

محب صفى في المحبة مخبت

محب صفى في المحبة مخبت

By Your exaltedness, raise me as You raise one who affirms Your oneness,

With Your raising, raise me with the ascent of one in unity,

A lover pure in love, humbly submissive.

A sincere lover dissolved in love,

برفعتك ارفعني مكاناً من الهدى

برفعتك ارفعني مكاناً من الهدى

علياً وايدني بروح الحقيقة

علياً وايدني بروح الحقيقة

By Your exaltedness, raise me to a station of guidance—

With Your raising, raise me to a place of guidance,

A lofty one—and strengthen me with the spirit of truth.

Loftily, and support me with the spirit of truth.

برفعتك ارفع هم نفسي من الهوى

برفعتك ارفع هم نفسي من الهوى

وسر بي لما ترضى سواء الطريقة

وسر بي لما ترضى سواء الطريقة

By Your exaltedness, lift my soul's aspiration above desire,

With Your raising, raise the concerns of my soul above passion,

And lead me to what pleases You, along the straight path.

And lead me to what You are pleased with, the straight path.
