1. واكف يا آخر الأعاديَ بالتأ

    خير عن قصدهم بسر المذل

    Keep the enemies at bay, O Last, by

    Holding them back from their purpose, through the Abaser's secret.

  2. يا قوي الأخذ الشديد المحال ال

    قاصم ادمغ فوق الألد المضل

    O Mighty in seizing, fierce in power, the

    Crusher, smash the crown of the stubborn misleader.

  3. أعطني يا متين أيدا مكينا

    لا تدل مني العداة ودل لي

    Grant me, O Firm One, unshakable strength.

    Let not the enemies triumph over me; grant me victory.

  4. رب قهر الرجال أشكو فيا قا

    هر هب لي قهراً يذل مذلي

    Lord, I lament men's oppression; O

    Subduer, grant me mastery that abases my abaser.

  5. يا شديد العقاب ذا البطش والأخ

    ذ الأليم الشديد خذهم بعدل

    O Stern in punishment, wielder of force and

    Painful, fierce seizure, seize them justly.

  6. وارث الأرض خذهم وأبدهم

    وانتصر لي منهم وخذ لي بذحلي

    Inheritor of the earth, seize them and annihilate them.

    And avenge me upon them; exact my vengeance for me.

  7. كادني الخصم يا حسيب فكده

    أمتن الكيد لا تدعه بمهل

    The foe has plotted against me, O Reckoner; so plot against him

    With the firmest stratagem; leave him no respite.

  8. أرني العدل فيه يا قائماً بال

    قسط والعدل منك ليس بسهل

    Show me justice against him, O Upholder of

    Equity; justice from You is no light matter.

  9. رب أنت الشهيد والحكم العد

    ل انتصف لي من ظالمي واشف غلي

    Lord, You are the Witness and the Judge, the

    Just One; vindicate me against my oppressor and soothe my rancor.

  10. لم تغب عنك يا رقيب مساعي

    ه وأنت المحصي لقول وفعل

    Not hidden from You, O Watcher, are any endeavors

    Of his; and You count every word and deed.

  11. فاصطلمه وأخزه وأمته

    يا مميت الأحياء موتة ذل

    So root him out, disgrace him, and put him to death—

    O Giver of death to the living—a death of shame.

  12. ليس ينجو وأنت مقتدر من

    غضب اللّه ظالم متولي

    There is no escape, while You are all-powerful, from

    God's wrath for an oppressor who turns away.

  13. أرده يا قدير وادمغه دمغاً

    إنه للامهال ليس بأهل

    Lay him low, O All-Powerful, and crush his skull utterly.

    Indeed, he is not worthy of respite.

  14. وأذقه الهوان والخزي يا قا

    در واثلل عروشه كل ثل

    And make him taste humiliation and disgrace, O

    Powerful One; overthrow his thrones utterly.

  15. يا سريع الحساب يا مهلك المد

    رك أدرك خصمي بخزي وويل

    O Swift in reckoning, O Destroyer, the

    Overtaker, overtake my foe with disgrace and woe.

  16. باسمك الباعث ابعث الشر والبل

    وى عليه كالوابل المستهل

    By Your name, the Resurrector, send forth evil and

    Affliction upon him like rain pouring down.

  17. يا مذل الجبار ذا القوة المن

    تقم الغالب انتقم لي وكد لي

    O Abaser of the tyrant, Possessor of strength, the

    Avenger, the Vanquisher, avenge me and plot for me.

  18. يا مبيد القرون يا قابض الأر

    واح خذ روحه على غير مهل

    O Destroyer of generations, O Taker of

    Souls, take his soul without delay.

  19. خذه الأخذ الويل فعلك يا ف

    عال في الغابرين مثلاً بمثل

    Seize him with a woeful seizure, as You did, O

    Doer, among those of old—like for like.

  20. أنت نعم المولى ونعم النصير اف

    تح وعجل نصراً عزيزاً لحولي

    You are the best Protector and the best Helper; grant

    Victory, and hasten a mighty triumph for my strength.

  21. واكفني يا كافي بما شئت عدا

    ئي وحياً وكل صعب وهل

    And shield me, O Sufficer, by whatever You will, from

    My enemies, swiftly, and every daunting hardship.
