My Lord, raise up for the children of Islam their leader,

and turn back whoever seeks to harm them, humiliated and defeated.

وانصر رجال الهدى وارفع دعائهم

فوق الدعائم ما نبت الربى نجما

Grant victory to the men of guidance, and raise their prayer

above the pillars, for as long as vegetation sprouts upon the hills.

O Lord, let not a nation that has risen

through the reign of truth dissolve through weakness or weariness.

أيد سطاها بنصر منك يظهرها

بالاستقامة سيفاً ليس منثلما

Strengthen its might with victory from You, manifesting it

قرت بحوزة أرض طاب منبتها

How often, through the ages, has it received the investiture

of the Imams—a necklace that adorned it, perfectly strung.

يا رب لا تجعل الأعداء عادية

على عصابة هذا الدين وانتقما

O Lord, do not let the enemies fall in assault

upon the fellowship of this faith; take vengeance upon them.

ومن بالخصب يا مولاي يذهب ما

And, my Lord, bestow abundance that will dispel all

And appoint for us, amid the grief of loss, a steadfast one,

And grant us, amid the sorrow of loss, a source of patience,

as consolation—a successor to the predecessor who died.

سقى الإله ضريحاً جل مودعه

برحمة وبلها ينهل منسجما

May God shower a grave whose occupant was exalted

May God water a tomb whose occupant is exalted

with mercy whose abundant rain pours down in an unbroken flow.
