لم ألق اذ وردته فراطا
And a watering place I reached by chance—
A spring from which I gathered roses,
When I reached it, I met no forerunners to the water
When I reached it, I found no more,
الاexcept الحمامthe doves الورقthe gray ones والغطاطاand the sandgrouse
الا الحمام الورق والغطاطا

فهن يلغطن به الغاطا
Except the gray doves and the sandgrouse;
Save doves, leaves, and brambles,
And there they were raising a loud clamor.
Who filled it with their chatter.
