الِلّه قل وذر الوجود وما حوى

إن كنتَ مرتاداً بلوغَ كمالِ

Say “God,” and leave existence and all it contains,

لولاهُ في محو وفي اضمحلال

Know that you and all the worlds,

were it not for Him, are being effaced and fading away.

من لا وجودَ لذاتهِ من ذاته

فوجودهُ لولاهُ عينُ محالِ

Whatever has no existence in itself, from itself—

Thus the knowers were annihilated and did not witness

وانظُر إلى علو الوجود وسفلهِ

نظراً تؤيدهُ بالإستدلالِ

Look upon existence in its heights and its depths

And look at the heights of existence and its depths,

with a gaze confirmed by reasoned proof.

تجد الجميع يُشيرُ نحو جلالهِ

بلسان حالٍ أو لسان مقال

You will find everything pointing toward His majesty
