ياO منyou who بهِمthrough them قدindeed طابَتgrew sweet حياتيmy life
وتِهتُand I exulted فخراًin pride علىabove الوجودexistence
O you through whom my life has grown sweet,
O you who my life has found joy,
And I have exulted in pride above all existence.
And boasts proudly of existence,
أنتُمyou شموسيmy suns وعينُand the very essence of ذاتيmy being
ووجهُكُمand your face قبلةَthe direction of السجودِprostration
You are my suns and the very essence of my being,
You are my suns and the eyes of my being,
And your face is where I turn in prostration.
And your faces are the object of my prostration.
خرَجتُI departed عنيfrom myself وعنand from صفاتيmy attributes
وجئتُكمand I came to you اشتهيI long for وُروديmy arrival
I have left myself and my attributes behind,
I went out from myself and my attributes,
And I have come to you, longing to reach you.
And came to you longing for my flowers.
وحقّكُمand by your honor لمnot أزَلI cease to be عُبيداa humble servant
حولaround حماكُمyour sanctuary مأوىthe refuge of الفقيرthe poor one
And by your honor, I have ever been a humble servant,
And your right upon me, I have remained a servant,
Around your sanctuary, the poor one's refuge.
Around your care is the shelter of the poor.

ياO سادتيmy masters فاجبرواso mend كسيريmy broken self
I call upon you in ease and hardship.
With you I call out softly and loudly,
O my masters, so mend my broken self.
O my masters fulfill my need.
