مَنwhoever يَكُنis صائِلاًattacking بِمِثلِwith the like of لِسانيmy tongue
مَن يَكُن صائِلاً بِمِثلِ لِساني
لَمnot يُضِرهُharm him أَنthat لَمnot يَصِلattack بِسِنانِwith a spearhead
لَم يُضِرهُ أَن لَم يَصِل بِسِنانِ
Whoever attacks with a tongue like mine
Whoever is a seeker with a tongue like mine
is none the worse for not attacking with a spearhead.
It does him no harm that he does not reach with a spear
