ما لِلَّيالي وَلِلأَيّامِ مَنقَبَةً

ما لِلَّيالي وَلِلأَيّامِ مَنقَبَةً

غَرّاءُ تَسمو بِها إِلّا مَساعيكا

غَرّاءُ تَسمو بِها إِلّا مَساعيكا

The nights and days can claim no distinction

The nights and days have no distinction

radiant enough to exalt them—save your noble deeds.

Radiant, by which they rise, save your endeavors.

رَبّي يُبَقّيكَ ما تَهوى عَلى فَرَحٍ

رَبّي يُبَقّيكَ ما تَهوى عَلى فَرَحٍ

كَما يُلَقّيكَ ما تَهوى وَيُعليكا

كَما يُلَقّيكَ ما تَهوى وَيُعليكا

May my Lord preserve you, as you desire, in joy,

May my Lord preserve you in joy as long as you wish,

just as He grants you what you desire and raises you high.

Just as He grants you what you desire and exalts you.

لِأَلفِ فَصلٍ كَهَذا الفَصلُ تَبلُغُهُ

لِأَلفِ فَصلٍ كَهَذا الفَصلُ تَبلُغُهُ

بِاليُمنِ وَالخَيرِ تَبليهِ وَيُنميكا

بِاليُمنِ وَالخَيرِ تَبليهِ وَيُنميكا

May you attain a thousand seasons like this season;

May you reach a thousand seasons like this one,

with blessing and prosperity, live it through, and may it make you thrive.

Wearing each out in good fortune and goodness, as it makes you flourish.

وَلا تَزالُ لَكَ الأَيّامُ موطَأَةٌ

وَلا تَزالُ لَكَ الأَيّامُ موطَأَةٌ

تَمضي قَضاياكَ مِنها في أَمانيكا

تَمضي قَضاياكَ مِنها في أَمانيكا

And may the days remain smooth-paved for you,

And may the days always be smoothed for you,

your affairs advancing through them according to your wishes.

Your affairs proceeding through them as you wish.
