أَغَرَّةُis it the radiant brow of إِسماعيلَIsma'il أَمor سُنَّةُthe face of البَدرِthe full moon
أَغَرَّةُ إِسماعيلَ أَم سُنَّةُ البَدرِ
وَفَيضُand the outpouring of نَدىbounty كَفَّيهِhis two palms أَمor باكِرُthe early القَطرِrain
وَفَيضُ نَدى كَفَّيهِ أَم باكِرُ القَطرِ
Is it Isma'il's radiant brow, or the face of the full moon?
Is it the radiance of Ismael or the full moon's glow?
And is it the bounty overflowing from his palms, or the early rain?
Is it the pouring rain from his palms or the early drops of dew?
