And a cup rides the tips of a hand,

whose fingers seem made of crimson dye.

Despite all afflictions, I wrest from it draughts

whose smiles are made of daisies.

    Bubbles gleam along its partings,

like halves of choice pearls and pearl beads.

And the youth appeared before me with it shortly before dawn,

so two stars were added to the stars.

And he matched it with a crimson cheek,

and contrasted with it with purplish locks.
