And a cup rides the tips of a hand,

as though its fingers were made of crimson dye.

Despite all ills, I share it with drinking companions,

whose smiling teeth are made of daisies.

    Bubbles gleam upon its crown,

like halves of choice pearls and pearl-like beads.

And the boy appeared before me with it just before dawn,

so two stars were added to the stars.

And he matched it with a crimson cheek,

but contrasted with it in his purple locks.
