قَد آذَنَ الخَليطُ بِاِنطِلاقِ

قَد آذَنَ الخَليطُ بِاِنطِلاقِ

فَخَلِّ عَنكَ شِدَّةَ الإِشفاقِ

فَخَلِّ عَنكَ شِدَّةَ الإِشفاقِ

The companions have already announced their departure.

So cast off your intense anxiety.

لا تَعتَرِضكَ حُمقَةُ العُشّاقِ

لا تَعتَرِضكَ حُمقَةُ العُشّاقِ

وَداوِ مَن مَلَّكَ بِالفُراقِ

وَداوِ مَن مَلَّكَ بِالفُراقِ

Let not the folly of lovers beset you.

And treat whoever has tired of you with separation.

فَلَيسَ لِلفارِكِ كَالطَلاقِ

فَلَيسَ لِلفارِكِ كَالطَلاقِ

For a spouse who feels aversion, nothing compares to divorce.
