لَوif أَنصَفَacted justly الظالِمُthe wrongdoer مِنagainst نَفسِهِhimself
لَو أَنصَفَ الظالِمُ مِن نَفسِهِ
لَأُنصِفَwould have been treated justly الظالِمُthe wrongdoer فيwith regard to نَفسِهِhimself
لَأُنصِفَ الظالِمُ في نَفسِهِ
Had the wrongdoer acted justly, even against himself,
If the oppressor were just to himself
the wrongdoer himself would have been treated justly.
The oppressor would be just within himself
إِنif كانَhe was لاnot يُرحَمُshown mercy فيin يَومِهِhis present day
إِن كانَ لا يُرحَمُ في يَومِهِ
لَكانَthen he would have been لاnot يَرحَمُshowing mercy فيin أَمسِهِhis yesterday
لَكانَ لا يَرحَمُ في أَمسِهِ
If he is shown no mercy today,
If he had no mercy on his day
then he showed no mercy yesterday.
He would have had none yesterday
