قصدتyou targeted الحسنal-Hasan ويحكwoe to you بالفسادِwith harm
قصدت الحسن ويحك بالفسادِ
Ah, you who beat the people!
O you who strikes the servants
You sought to harm al-Hasan—woe to you!
You intended good but ended up with corruption
أتضربُdo you beat مثلهsomeone like him بالسوطwith the whip عشراten times
أتضربُ مثله بالسوط عشرا
ضُربتَmay you be stricken بفالجِwith the paralysis of ابنِson of أبيfather of دُوادِDu'ad
ضُربتَ بفالجِ ابنِ أبي دُوادِ
